The Great Cancer Deception

conversations thegreatgaslights Apr 05, 2023

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), cancer caused nearly 10 million deaths worldwide in 2020, accounting for almost one in six deaths.

Cancer has long been a formidable adversary, with the oncogene theory dominating cancer research and treatment for decades. However, our recent conversations with Dr. David Rasnick, a prominent biochemist and cancer researcher with a background in biotechnology, revealled that much of what we have been taught about cancer is incorrect.

In this episode,Dr. David Rasnick, a prominent chemist and cancer researcher, introduced me to the Chromosomal Imbalance Theory of Cancer, shedding light on a century perspective that challenges current conventional wisdom.

He emphasised the importance of examining cancer cells under the microscope, providing crucial insights into their behaviour and characteristics. It is here that chromosomal aneuploidy can be consistently seen with in cancerous cells.

Aneuploidy Theory refers to an abnormality in the number of chromosomes in our cells.

Chromosomes are like small packages within our cells that house our genetic material. Typically, humans possess 46 chromosomes, organised in 23 pairs. However, sometimes errors can occur during cell division, leading to an abnormal number of chromosomes in a cell.

This condition is termed aneuploidy.

Aneuploidy refers to a cell having an excess or deficiency of chromosomes compared to the usual 46. For instance, instead of having two copies of a particular chromosome, there may be three or only one. Such abnormalities can arise in any of our cells' chromosomes.

Furthermore, changes in chromosome numbers can lead to health issues, such as Down Syndrome, which results from an extra copy of chromosome 21.

Regarding cancer, the Aneuploidy Theory posits that irregularities in chromosome numbers can be the cause.

This challenges the long-standing consensus that cancer development is primarily driven by specific gene mutations, known as the Somatic Mutation Theory.

The Cancer Industry

As David explains the Somatic Mutation Theory is crucial to the cancer industry as provides gene to target and wage a highly profitable war against.

The mechanics of corporate-backed disease mongering, and its impact on public consciousness, medical practice, human health, and national budgets, have attracted limited critical scrutiny.

“Despite its global dominance, this medical-industrial complex has given us meagre, feeble comforts at vast expense. Its chief concern is its own survival and continued dominance, and its ethos is the betrayal of the scientific ideals of the golden age” Professor Seamus O’Mahony

As with many disease categories informal cancer alliances have emerged, comprising drug company staff, doctors, and consumer groups. Ostensibly engaged in raising public awareness about under-diagnosed and under-treated problems, these alliances tend to promote a view of their particular condition as widespread, serious, and treatable.

The authors of the article “Selling sickness: the pharmaceutical industry and disease mongering” observe that although some sponsored professionals or consumers may act independently and all concerned may have honourable motives, in many cases the formula is the same: groups and/or campaigns are orchestrated, funded, and facilitated by corporate interests, often via their public relations and marketing infrastructure.

Notice how most doctors prescribe medication without asking the patient about their typical day, diet, exercise, sleep, relationships, or time outside.

Chemotherapy and Radiation

One of the most striking contradiction's is the use of chemotherapy and radiation. While these treatments have been widely employed, Dr. Rasnick raised valid concerns about their effectiveness and the harm individuals encounter.

These interventions result in a weakened body with the most resilient cancer cells remaining. When a more desirable outcome would be a stronger body with weakened cancer cells.

Approaches emphasising the self limiting or relatively benign natural history of a problem, or the importance of personal coping strategies—are played down or ignored.

What is often not considered is other ways to improve health such as nutrition and exercise, which avoid chemicals completely and avoid the risk of being injured by a drug.

We rarely need drugs. We are rarely in situations where a drug may save our life, or where a drug could make a major difference to our lives…” Peter Gotzsche

David urged us to explore alternative approaches, reduce exposure to carcinogens and discover ways to improve ours and ours patient wellness, outcomes and quality of life.

Global Thinking

During our discussions with David touched on the impact of professional training on global thinking. It became evident that the healthcare landscape can greatly benefit from integrating diverse perspectives, especially those from natural healers and practitioners with a focus on "living medicine".

Ultimately, the discussions with Dr. Rasnick encouraged us to embrace a preventative lifestyle by consciously limiting our carcinogen exposure.
