What the Court Ignored. What the World Did Not.

There are two sets of evidence about Kate Markland as a mother.

The first is the court record. In 2019, a family court judge determined she was emotionally unfit to parent. Her contact with Gabriel was reduced. In 2020, Gabriel was removed from her care. The same mother. The same period. Two completely different records of the same person.

What the court and social workers ignored: independent expert psychological evidence. Independent witness statements. Documented positive parenting. Gabriel's voice.

What the world did not ignore: two Amazon number one bestsellers. 100% engagement across 465 children. UNICEF exploring global distribution. International media requests from nine countries.

Only one of these records determined what happened to Gabriel. The one that was not built on validated clinical evidence, not produced by a qualified psychologist, and not corroborated by a single professional body of standing.

The other record, validated by Parliament, the British Psychological Society, and UNICEF, was produced during the proceedings, in the one hour a week that remained.

The contradiction the court cannot answer

India and Pakistan, two countries separated by a militarised border, with a history of direct military conflict, both endorsed what Gabriel and Kate created together. A mile apart in Gloucestershire, Gabriel and Kate cannot meet without institutional threat.

The court's conjecture said Kate was an unfit mother. The world found what she and her son built together exemplary.

Both cannot be true. The record of each exists. The question is which one has produced accountability.
